~Shukumei~ CHANGEofFATE's Dynamis Linkshell Red Mage Red Mage's will be primary sleepers in Shukumei. Obviously /BLM sub is needed, as Sleepga will be their best friend. There will be 2 main Red Mage sleepers each Dynamis run. We will do our best to put these 2 in parties with minimal mages so they have fewer people to Refresh. All Red Mages NOT given the job of sleeping will either be put in a Mage party for Refresh or a melee party for Haste. They should also help Black Mages nuke out Statues if needed and back up sleep if a main sleeper goes down. Paladin A Paladin's job in Dynamis is fairly simple. The biggest thing that must be done is the voking of slept mobs to keep them off of Red Mage sleepers. Some bosses will call for Paladin tanks, and they might be the best choice for sacrafice pulls at times. Ninja Two tanks will be designated as the main alliance tanks. There is no reason to have any more than 2 main tanks on the currently engaged mob. Therefore, additional Ninjas can act in the exact same fashion as Paladins in keeping hate off the sleepers (will require full nin-debuff toolset). Pladins, Ninjas, and the puller, will also occasionally have to kite awakened or linked mobs away from the main alliance, then back as required... therefore should familiarize themselves with safe areas to do so. Black Mage A Black Mage's biggest priority is to nuke out Statue mobs. A designated Black Mage 'leader' will be assigned before each run to call out which statue should be nuked first. This is done so everyone will be focused on one mob at a time, guaranteeing death as fast as possible. Black Mage's will also be called on to support Stun all MNK mobs' Hundred Fists two hours. White Mage White Mage's need to keep re-raise up at all times, regardless of whatever else ends up happening, and ensure that if there is a wipe, that they die in a safe place. Barfira should also be kept on your party any time the group is fighting a NIN mob. Summoner Summoners will have to switch back and forth from DD to main healing on the fly as the need arises. Thief Thiefs will also be required to act as sac pullers, using the flee/PD routine to train a large group of mobs away from a main boss NM. The smaller the group size we have, the more sac-pulls we will have to do if we end up wanting to go for time extensions and clears. Misc. Melee Jobs Melee's have the easiest job of all time! Make an /assist Macro for whoever is main tanking, sit back, and kill mobs. All melee will want to sub ninja if possible as these areas have considerable AoE, and Dynamis is much too hectic an area to rely on WHM's curing up miscellaneous damage to all melee all the time --> be willing to sacrifice some of your damage to make the entire run smoother on everyone. |
